Wonderful stay in this GuestHouse. Everyone welcome us smiling and helping us with good advices. We felt like a family with other people. Everything was clean. The breakfast was diferent everyday, and better every morning ! Thank you so much, you took care of us with my lost backpack and when we were sick. We will remember you, and i hope we can come back in Nepal to see you again. “We feel at home, because home is where heart is”

Wonderful guest house in Boudhanath neighborhood. The staff is lovely, the rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is excellent and healthy. The rooms and the dining area are well lit and cozy. The best part is that it’s connected to Tek Chok Ling Nunnery surrounded by such compassion. Thank you for such a peaceful stay.

  3. A sanctuary among guesthouses. I extended my stay by three days because I fell in love with the energy here and couldn’t imagine being happier elsewhere; the property itself is tucked away in a courtyard, and connected to a Buddhist nunnery with active ceremonies throughout the day. My encounters with the staff, the nuns, and the other guests were exhilarating, especially at breakfast–Dondrub attracts the most interesting characters from all over the world, which makes striking up a conversation really easy and rewarding. AND THE BREAKFAST! Insanely tasty and always varied, with multiple hot prepared foods, fresh fruit, homemade bread, raw honeys and local jams, coffee and teas. So much love goes into this place, and it radiates with peace.

It was great! We went for 3 nights to see Kathmandu.
It was clean, the staff was very kindly and we eat with the nuns!

  5. Tashi Delek !
I stayed during 1 month on January 2017 at the gest house: the place is very peacefull and clean, with delicious breakfasts. The wifi works well, rooms are confortable and there is a beautiful view on the roof ! The staff is kind too and you can buy essential stuff at the office like khata and water bottles (they provide all the time hot water). A supermarket / cafe with all basis things is situated close to the guest house enter (food, paper toilet, shampoing…). You also can visit easily the nunnery of Khenpo Tsultrim Rinpoche, a precious luck ! 🙂

I stayed at the Guess House for over 6 weeks in Feb/March 2016 and it enjoyed it. The staff and the nuns were superb, a wonderful energy all around, plus hot water and internet all the time, a real luxury during the cold months. Breakfast was excellent, and I could explore easily the city.
    Highly recommended.

I stayed almost one month in Dondrub Guesthouse and I will go back in March for another month. I’ve found the accomodation clean and cozy. All the staff members are kind and very helpful. The possibility to participate to the daily pujas with the nuns of the monastery, is a precious gift and the food they cook is delicious. The guesthouse is perfectly located if you desire to stay in Boudhanath area and have a full immersion in the Tibetan culture.
I highly recommend this wonderful place. Tashi Delek!
